On Tuesday, September 13th from 7:15 - 9:15 PM, find out just how "do-able" Kundalini Yoga is for every BODY! In this two-hour workshop session, experience the saying "doing is believing" with experienced instructor, Maureen Tonge. Absolutely no previous yoga experience is required; just a curious and open mind and a willingness to move, to breathe, and to rest.
This two-hour workshop will be followed by a more comprehensive 6-week series for beginners and those that may have been away from the practice for awhile.
Please wear comfortable clothing. All equipment is provided, though if you have your own mat you're welcome to bring it along.
Here's how YogaJournal.com describes Kundalini Yoga:
An uplifting blend of spiritual and physical practices, Kundalini Yoga incorporates movement, dynamic breathing techniques, meditation, and the chanting of mantras, such as Sat Nam, meaning "truth is my identity." The goal is to build physical vitality and increase consciousness.
