Tuesday evenings are for finding the stillness within!
Looking to experience the bliss of mindfulness and Yoga Nidra? Join Maureen for this spring series, starting Tuesday, April 4th. No previous experience is required, but all levels of experience are entirely welcome.
Here's what to expect each week:
We'll begin mindfully, where you'll be invited to find a comfortable seat (using whatever props are required - even a chair!)
- Once seated, you'll be guided through mindful breath awareness. From week to week the script will change slightly, but the first ten to fifteen minutes will serve to allow you to become fully present and grounded.
- We will then practice a small number of stretches to allow you to increase circulation and to gently increase your ability to sit for increasing periods of time in stillness.
- Each week, participants will also be guided through the guided meditation known as Yoga Nidra, which will last between fifteen and forty minutes.
- On special occasion - when the timing coincides to the full or new moons, there will also be gong meditations to strengthen, balance, & heal the parasympathetic nervous system.
NO preregistration is required for this series; however, a discount will be offered if you'd like to register for five classes (5 for $50). The price indicated on the website is for five classes.
