With the change of seasons, sometimes our nervous system can take a bit of a hit. Archer Pose is a full-body strengthener that not only strengthens the systems of the body but also provides a psychological boost of confidence. To tap into your Inner Warrior, bring one foot in front of the other about three feet apart, front toes pointing forward. The back foot can be perpendicular to the front foot. Raise the same arm as forward leg and make a fist with the thumb pointing to the sky. You are holding onto your bow. With the opposite arm, pull back your bow string, keeping the back elbow up in line with the shoulder. Keep your eyes open & breathe long, slow, deep breaths. Hold the position for at least one minute; then repeat on the other side.
